Bellingham and Whatcom County offer a variety of hotels for Western Washington University guests. Most hotels offer discounts to WWU guests which are indicated below. Discounts are included in the customized links or you can inquire about a WWU discount if booking by phone. Hotel rates fluctuate based on availability and are typically more expensive in the summer and on busy WWU weekends. Happy travels!

Hotel prices during this year’s June commencement are inflated due to World Cup coming to the Pacific Northwest this summer. The following hotel partners are offering special block room-rates for our commencement families. Please consider booking early before they fill up.
Best Western Plus
We’re excited to be part of such a memorable time for graduates! To help make your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible, Best Western Plus Bellingham has created a special room block exclusively for Western Washington University families. This preferred rate allows you to secure accommodations early, before availability becomes limited and rates increase due to high demand.
Holiday Inn Express
Holiday Inn Express Bellingham has set up a special rate with a link below, $299.00 for commencement weekend. There are limited rooms available at this price. Families are encouraged to either call in or book through the below link.
Holiday Inn & Suites
For June 12 – June 14 we are pleased to offer a rate of $274 + tax for up to 15 rooms (5 Single King, 5 King with Sofa Bed, 5 Double Queens). This rate will be available until all 15 rooms are reserved, or until the cutoff date of May 15. Once the cutoff date is reached, any unsold rooms will get released back into our general inventory, and you will not be responsible for any of these rooms.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bellingham has set up a special rate with a link below, $299.00 for commencement weekend. There are limited rooms available at this price. Families are encouraged to either call in or book through the below link. Last day to book is May 12.
